Why do i think religion leads to fighting?

This is for people who thought i was wrong when i said religion leads to fighting. Imagine now, the Twin Towers in New York City. They would still be there standing tall today if there was no religion. Adolf Hitler hated anybody that didn't follow his way of religion, so he killed millions of jews and anyone who didn't agree with his way of life.
