What are some NEGATIVE effects to privatizing space exploration?

I'm looking for articles on space exploration, but most of what I've found is how great privatizing space would be...I don't necessarily need a long explanation, really, an article would be best because I need to quote my sources. Basically, I want to know why space exploration needs to stick with the government, instead of being privatized. Thanks, in advance.
