How long do burton bindings last?

If you take care of them they will last you many years. The main reason anyones Burton bindings break at all is because they abuse or neglect them in some way. Lot's of highbacks have been cracked or broken and people think they broke it while riding when usually it's from leaving it all the way up when getting on a chairlift. Some people set up their bindings once and never check em again to make sure the screws are all nice and tight. This is another huge reason for binding parts failing. The other big one is people just being too rough on their ratchets like their in a race of who can strap in the fastest.
