Does my boyfriend have a problem?

For almost a year, everyday when my boyfriend comes home from work he has to have "a" drink of rum. He generally has anywhere from 2-4, keeping in mind they are generally 2-4 shots in each gl. Its very seldom that he goes a day without having a drink. This is really starting to hurt me inside, should I have a reason to?
