I need divorce advice.?

i'm getting ready to file divorce papers, my question is can i seek monetary compensation for damages of property,that is mine but is in my wife's postiton. She has freely admitted that these items are mine but refuses to return them.(I have emails stateing she has the items,and a statement from a 3rd party that has acted as a mediator, that she refuses to give the items back to me) I'm seeking to receive these items or monetary compensation for them. Can this matter be brought up in the divorse process or do I have to file a civil case against her also?
