Does he like me? Should i make a move?

Ok so, there's this guy that I really like. And we have been best friends for a month now. Ever since the day we met he'll hold my hand, snuggle with me, and tell me how beautiful my eyes are. So the other day I was with him, he kept going up to people he knew just joking around saying i was his girlfriend, and then we'd spit out the truth and say we weren't dating. Everybody kept saying we should go out, and thought we were dating because of our body language together. So does he like me? or is this just some fluke?
