A boy that likes me (and i like him) ignores me now?

i met him around his friend and he was so talkative and everything and then hungout with just me and him and he told me he liked me. after that night, he'd never answer my IMs or texts so i posted "i hate when men play with minds" on twitter (but it was also about my ex boyfriend mostly and referencing this guy a little too. Ever since then, he wont talk to me and i keep apologizing and asking if he'd still like to be friends and he doesnt answer. he's really shy but all i want is "yes" or "no". he talked to me a couple days ago and said "i dont know what to do" and then "we'll talk about this later" and yet still ignores me. i have no idea what to do at all! i like him more than ive ever liked anyone and what sucks is i have a horrible past and i want to explain to him why i act like this around guys but he wont answer. advice on what to do pleaseeee. especially from a guys perspective.
